Larry Becker, P.E.

A registered professional engineer and power industry professional, Larry brings more than 55 years of project development and technical expertise in the electric power, oil and gas, and mining industries.

 

Larry is experienced in all phases of project development, spanning technical design, construction, plant operations, cost estimation, and construction management, as well as execution of EPC, EPCM, and design/build projects utilizing the latest generation of conventional gas-fired reciprocating engine generators, simple and combined cycle gas turbine plants, and renewable and battery energy storage systems.

 

As director of business development and manager of applications engineering, Larry successfully developed 27 EPC projects in the $500 MM–$1.5 BB range (2,200 MW in size) with SNC Lavalin Thermal Power.

 

As president of Northwest Power Consulting LLC, Larry originated several LNG and oil/gas inside-the-fence cogeneration projects.

 

Larry holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
